About

👋🏻 Hi, I'm Judy

My background in Human-Computer Interaction (MHCI+D @ UW) and B2B UI/UX Design fuels my passion to create impactful experiences that can help others.

DESIGN PHILOSOPHY

Design Craft & Detail

Building Trust, Not Pitching.

I focus on the details that create seamless and polished user experiences. This includes strong information architecture, intuitive interactions, clear visual hierarchy, and consistent UI patterns. I believe well-structured content and thoughtful micro-interactions lead to functional and high-quality digital products.

Empathy & Evidence-Based Approach

Bold Moves, Big Impact.

My process centers on understanding user needs and behaviors through research like interviews and testing. This evidence, combined with empathy, informs user-centered design decisions. I iterate based on feedback to create effective solutions that meet user and business goals.

Accessibility for All

Building Strong Partnerships.

I am committed to creating digital experiences accessible to everyone, regardless of ability. Integrating accessibility principles and adhering to guidelines ensures inclusive solutions for users with diverse needs, making products usable and enjoyable by the widest audience.

OUTSIDE OF DESIGN I ENJOY

🏋️ Working out

Moving to the Golden State got me into working out every day – it's been a huge life change!

🍱 Cooking

I have fun making all sorts of real Asian food, like Chinese, Japanese, and Korean dishes.

🐈 Cats!

Totally a cat mom here! Love meeting other people's cats and checking out the shelters.

📗 Reading

I enjoy reading, these days I read about American cuisine and the evolution of America's history through its cuisine!

📺 Watching shows

Pretty much always got Netflix, Crunchyroll, or YouTube on in the background, especially when I'm eating. Right now I'm into anything with Takuya Kimura (Japanese dramas!). But I also totally watch trashy dating shows like Singles Inferno and Too Hot to Handle, plus anime like Kingdom and The Apothecary Diaries.
